Xiaomi's upcoming flagship or foldable phone will have an under-display camera? Speculation is rife

In the last two three months, Xiaomi has launched several new flagship smartphones with premium features. Just a few weeks ago, the first foldable handset of the brand called Mi MIX Fold was launched, which is packed with a lot of features, including a 108-megapixel primary camera. But the features that Xiaomi's next-of-its-kind devices might be even more startling - the speculation is suddenly starting to condense like a cloud of dawn! In fact, a tipster recently claimed that the Chinese tech giant's next-generation high-end flagship or foldable smartphone will feature an under-screen camera that will easily innovate the photography experience.

For the record, Xiaomi said last year that it was working on an under-screen camera technology that was nearing completion. In that case, many expected that this technology will be seen this year, that is, towards the end of 2021. So it would not be right at all to say that Tipster's recent opinion is baseless or baseless!

 

In addition, company officials have said in the past that their third-generation devices will have under-screen cameras, which will be one of the best implementations of the technology. But it is not yet clear what phones the company will bring in the coming days and which models will have this special feature. Even that tipster could not name any specific device. An under-display camera is actually a screen technology where the device's camera is embedded in its display and is specifically designed to emit light through certain parts. As a result, it allows the user to take pictures from the bottom of the screen and eliminates the need for a notch, punch-hole, or pop-up camera on the device.
